Buying a Sunbeam Humidifier

I think most people do not realize how badly they need a humidifier, until they REALLY need a humidifier. Take me, for instance, I recently moved from an apartment into a house. The apartment had no humidifier and although we attempted to use one, I am a sensitive sleeper and we couldn’t find one that wouldn’t keep me up all night.

By the time we had bought the new house, I was waking up every day very dehydrated. I had chapped lips, dry, itchy skin, and was very thirsty in the morning. I just attributed it to having the heat on and figured I had to wait until spring. Well, it was the heat, it was really drying me out, so badly that I actually became clinically dehydrated and had to be given IV fluids. I didn’t know this could happen simply from dry air in the house. Most people are unaware of the health concerns with living in a very dry area. This is especially true for those who live in consistently dry areas, like the desert. A simple thing like a humidifier can be all you need to keep your health in the state it was meant to be in–well! Apparently, although I personally am very susceptible to it, it can get that dry in a home!

In our new home, we had a sunbeam humidifier installed. A whole house system, not a little one which sits in my bedroom so I cannot sleep at night. Let me tell you, this thing works wonders! It has been a very cold winter and our heat has been blasting, but I have no problems! My lips are not chapped, my skin is not dry at all and I attribute it all to the amazing blessed sunbeam humidifier in my basement!
